DÉMON514: À suivre...

New interview: H-Man - All Around Franchise

My quest for 300 interviews in a year has started... Grab a seat.  Now: H-MAN.  More than just a rapper, more like a businessman building his own brand by any means.  Read about it.

1-Who is H-MAN?
I'm just a guy who grew up shorthanded in Montreal city, and with my upbringing I'm able to use my voice & experiences for not only myself but those who went through and still face the same struggles. My style can be linked to the "REAL", I'm all about REAL LIFE & being able to depict just that through my vision and barz of precision. HMAN can be a HeroMan for those in need!

2-What can we expect from your project?
Gr8t music, there's something for everyone. That reflective song, exerting song, money song, story song, party song all kinds of songs, and like title states... AHELLATRACKS&KUSHIONPACKS (a lot of Kushion Packs if you know what I mean lol).

3-Talk about your numerous businesses: clothing line,Batt Tube channel and more...
Whatever entity we decide to create will carry the Unknown Battalion name on it. With that said there's a little bit of U-BATT in everything we do. With the U.B.C (Unknown Battalion Clothing) we pattern the right for everyone to wear the EVERYWEAR. We don't feel like you should have to dump your weeks pay on clothing just to look fly! Instead we set ourselves apart from that mind set & offer something comfortable, reasonable and affordable for everyone to obtain. The clothing line is in direct reflection of the movement I represent & what we're looking to accomplish as a brand. The President/CEO of the line (Akeem "Keezy" Saintiche) is doing a great job in terms of creating awareness, and in 2012 we're looking to amplify that by touring, store sales and networking every and anywhere we can.

BATT TUBE is the media and social side of the movement, and what we aim to do with the TUBE is to provide a place for people to come and get the latest and greatest in what we think they should know 7 days a week. We pride ourselves on having something new and fresh on a daily basis for everyone to peep and enjoy (although sometimes it can be a challenge). We've been up for 8 months and have surpassed over 26,000 views in that time and only looking to get more and better as we grow! I have to tip my hat to our Director of Media Greg "BIZ" Page as well as our staff Miss Magz, Faith Monae & Ms. Bootay for holding down that end of the movement cause it ain't easy. In the near future, we're looking to start a sporting brand (UBATT Sports) for under privileged youths struggling to play inner city sports by reaching out to potential sponsors & investors who may wanna help them do just that. I'm also working on starting a charity for children with multiple sclerosis. Its something I've been talking to a few people about doing for a while now. We have a very large population of children who are diagnosed with this disease in Montreal's Children's Hospital as well as St-Justine Hospital. All children deserve a chance to live life without sickness, and I just wanna help in anyway I can.

4-Being lyrical VS having swag: nowadays which one is the best formula?
For me personally, I prefer substance over style. You gotta do what works for you. I can't do or be anyone else but me. So I keep it all the way REAL till the very end!

5-What can we be looking forward from H-Man?
I have a slew of shows coming up in the new year (including a 14 city Canadian tour with Kurupt of the "Dogg Pound"), a few visuals about to hit the web, I'm also working on my 8th mixtape entitled, "CloudSurfin", before I start on my EP which I'm trying to drop before summer. I'm just keeping the movement moving while steady (W)RAPPIN & EVAH SO FAMILIAH!

Congrats to H-Man for his movement and wishing him more success.  CLICK HERE if you missed out on his musical project.
