Many wonders how the collaboration with Bizzy Bone came about. So we got in touch with group memeber Orphee The Myth to tell us the 411 behind the song.

"Since God is the only Master of time, He answered our prayers and made everything possible according to His plan. It all started with a tweet, yes twitter. They contacted us, they checked out our music on youtube. Next thing you know Bizzy Bone called us personally. It was about 5 am in the morning... If you know Bizzy Bone, you'd recognize his voice. "Hi Mr. Accent, hello Sherley Gene, how yall doin", that was the first thing he said. A very humble man.

We called up our producer, Pekanzo, he made a custom beat for us, in less than 3 hours, he sent us the beat, we recorded our verses, we sent it to Bizzy, 3 days later, he sent us the song with his verse on it. He called us one more time and asked if we liked it. Of course, he would had whispered, we'd have already been extremely honored to have him on a record with us.

The rest is and will be history!!!"

Fatty Soprano: The interview

While preparing his upcoming project, "C.N.A.D", we got in touch with Fatty Soprano to get more familiar with his résumé

1. What made you decide to do music?
"Ready to die" by Notorious B.I.G. I remember bumping this album day and night when I was a kid and I still do . That album really changed my life, listening to those 17 tracks really made me feel that I had my own story to tell and that folks need to hear it .

2. You been known to have a fanbase outside of the city and even the country. How did you manage to break out the "MTL nest"?
I try to stay consistant, putting in work, no days off . Dropping nothing but high quality music thanks to producers like Paul Williams, Alex Lustig and Edi Burgz that keeps me on my A game.

3. How much of an importance is it to have a manager?
I think it's crucial for an artist to have a manager , you gotta have someone that believes in you and motivates you 100% in order to succeed. Shout out to my manager Prezzy and the whole team, driven paper chasin !

4. In our time of internet taking over, do you believe it is still important for an artist to be broadcasted by TV networks?

I do believe it is very important , in order to stay relevent in this day and age not only you have to have a strong internet presence but you have to make sure all medias rate you. TV networks will help you push a music video/project to a different audience. I just love turning on the TV on much music and MTV in Canada & America and seeing Fatty Soprano !

5. When can we expect the full project to drop?
I can't confirm an exact date for now , we are still negotiating a few things, but it's coming really soon and trust me it's worth the wait. C.N.A.D (Canadian Nightmare American Dream) mixtape. And this project is going to be a classic every track is a banger 100%. Expect features from the homie French Montana, Gudda Gudda from young money, Bizarre from D12 and Toronto's Bishop Brigante.

From his latest tweet, it seems like the RepUpMTL star had some kind of run-in with the law. Nothing confirmed but hopefully it was just a minor setback while he's working on his upcoming EP. More details as the story devellops.

Chris Taylor leaves Soul Perspective!!!

After a good 6 years of hosting the evening show, the singer calls it quit so he can focus more on his musical career. "I am sadden to say that as of March 1st I will no longer be co-hosting/Producing Soul Perspectives on Ckut 90.3FM. I will be venturing on to further my Education and Music", the singer wrote on his facebook wall. But it is not the end for Chris Taylor and his CKUT collaboraters as he is saying that "however I will still be doing special assignments and other various work at Ckut 90.3FM Montreal and with Soul Perspectives."

We want to wish Chris Taylor good luck on his new adventure and looking forward to hear new projects. In the meantime, look to your right and get the current project.
